4 Life lessons from Jackie Chan’s Autobiography
I hope all of you are in good health and staying safe. We all are living in a completely new world today, which none of us has experienced in our lifetime before. I must say that initially, a part of me was a bit happy with the lockdown as I will have all the extra time to read, catch up the missed shows on Netflix and focus on health. I have set a goal to read a book in 48 hours and started my challenge with the autobiography of Jackie Chan “Never grow up”. It’s a very quick read considering the lucid language of the book and interesting events Jackie mentions in the book. I just couldn’t keep it down and finished it within 36 hours. I will share 4 of my main takeaway from the book, although I must say that the autobiography is full of life lessons which we can implement in our life. So, without much ado here is the list.
Lesson 1 — Importance of education
Jackie Chan was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Coming from an economically disadvantaged background, he was hungry for wealth and fame, and he overlooked the significance of education in his early life.
