Success Peak: Game of rationalist optimist

When I was 10, my parents took me to a fair in our town. I insisted them to buy me a rose-tinted glasses which most of the kids of my age were wearing in the fair. On wearing those glasses, the full world around me turned into a pink shade theme. It felt like the whole world around me has changed to pink tinge.

We all perceive and interpret the events around us with a similar metaphorical lens which we are wearing all the time. This lens is evolved under the influence of nature and nurture.

For optical vision correction, we use positive and negative powers lenses for seeing near and far things respectively. Similarly, we view the current events in our life and future with the lenses of rationalism and optimism. We can think rationalism is like the positive power optical lens, which helps to judge the current situation, and optimism is the synonymous to negative power optical lens which, helps to anticipate the future. We all have a different degree of optimism and rationalism, and the blend of these two decides our success in life.
